Cut the apples in slices and put them in a bowl by adding grated lemon zest, lemon juice and cinnamon, then mix well.
In another bowl, combine eggs and sugar and assemble with electric whisk.
Slowly add the vegetable oil and flour.
Mix well with the whisk and add the baking powder.
At this point, add to the mixture three-quarters of apples, almonds and some of them cut into strips, mix well with a spatula.
Grease and flour a baking mould (savarin cake pan) and transfer the mixer. Decorate as desired with the remaining apple slices, sprinkle with cane sugar and add almonds as decoration.
Bake in a preheated oven at 180 ° C for 50 minutes.
Always do the toothpick test (if it is dry when you remove it, the baking is perfect).
When cooked, leave to cool.
